Code of conduct

All participants, exhibitors, volunteers, and speakers at Devoxx France are invited to read the recommendations for good behavior at the conference.
During the conference, we invite anyone needing assistance to contact the organizing team preferably (Antonio Goncalves, Zouheir Cadi, or Nicolas Martignole). The organizing team is identifiable by a red polo shirt, and a black badge and can be found at the general conference office.
Alternatively, the volunteer team (identified by a red polo and a black badge) will do everything possible to help you.
Our conference is organized to offer you an open, free, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, physical abilities, race, religion, or disability.
We do not tolerate harassment of our participants in any form. Explicit language or inappropriate images are not tolerated at Devoxx, including presentations by speakers, exhibitors or the workshop part, as well as Twitter, or any other media. Participants, speakers, or exhibitors at the conference who do not comply with these rules may be sanctioned or excluded from the conference, without entitling them to any refund from the organizers.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual identity and expression, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, ethnicity, or religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate harassment, verbal or physical harassment, recording, sustained disruption of meetings or other events, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants are expected to immediately stop such behavior. Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors must not use sexualized images, activities, or other content. People at the stand (including volunteers) must not wear uniforms or costumes that create a sexualized environment. If a participant engages in such behavior as presented above, conference organizers may take any appropriate action, including warning the person or expelling them from the conference without a refund.
If you are harassed, notice someone else being harassed, or have any other concerns, please immediately contact a conference staff member. A conference staff member will be at the reception desk during conference hours. Conference staff is there to help you. We appreciate your vigilance. We expect participants to follow these rules during conferences, workshops, and social events related to the conference such as the Meet & Greet evening.
We have created a list of questions and answers on the registration web page of the Devoxx France registration web site.
