The conference
Devoxx France is a conference for developers, held in Paris over 3 days in April. Founded in 2012 by the Paris JUG association, it has been organized since 2015 by Quantixx (Antonio Goncalves, Nicolas Martignole and Zouheir Cadi). It welcomes 4,500 attendees a day. While its DNA is the Java platform, it covers many other topics: web, cloud, mobile, agile, AI…
Devoxx France is part of the Devoxx family of conferences. Devoxx (on its own) is the largest English-speaking Java conference in Europe. Founded in 2001 by Stephan Janssen, it takes place every November in Antwerp, Belgium, and brings together nearly 3,500 developers from more than 40 countries over 5 days.
Devoxx France welcomes 4,500 people a day over 3 days: attendees, speakers, exhibitor staff, free visitors to the exhibition hall (after 2 p.m.) and the organizing team.
Each day opens with two keynotes in the main auditorium, followed by a varied program: 3-hour deep dives, 45-minute talks, 15-minute short talks, 30-minute presentations and 2- to 3-hour hands-on labs. Meals are included, and the Meet & Greet party takes place on Thursday evening starting at 7 p.m.
Venue & access
In Paris, at the Palais des Congrès, Porte Maillot. It is easy to reach by metro (Line 1), RER E and the Roissybus from Porte Maillot. Parking is available at Porte Maillot. Accessibility information for people with reduced mobility is available on the Palais des Congrès (Viparis) website.
Yes: a coat check and bag check are available on Level 1, in the “Ternes” area. Suitcases must be tagged (name + phone number). Space is limited and may be refused when it gets very busy. Exhibitors have a dedicated area inside the exhibition hall, on Level 2.
Tickets
Registration is online only, at reg.devoxx.fr, starting in early November 2026. A second sale takes place in late February. You can pay by credit card or bank transfer; registration through professional training funding is possible. Quantixx is listed on Provigis and e-attestations.
Three passes: Wednesday (day 1), Thursday-Friday (days 2 and 3) and 3-Day (all three days). “Golden Tickets” are special 3-day passes that let you vote on talks on the CFP website; they are available in limited numbers and only sold while talks are being selected.
As long as there are seats left! Devoxx France has sold out every year since 2012: tickets are gone a few weeks before the conference. In 2019, it sold out by mid-January for an event in late April.
The easiest way is to pay online by credit card when you register: you will then receive a receipt by email. Bank transfer is also possible (include your order number in the transfer reference). Any order not paid within 8 days is canceled and the tickets are put back on sale.
Meals
Lunch (a sandwich) and drinks (water, soda, coffee) are included in the ticket price every day. Three kinds of sandwiches are available: meat, fish and vegetarian. The list of allergens is available on request from the catering staff or the team.
We cannot offer special menus given the number of people served in a short time. If none of the 3 sandwiches works for you, the “Galeries gourmandes” food court on Level -1 of the Palais des Congrès offers other options (at your own expense, not reimbursed).
Exhibitors
Yes. Devoxx France is a mix of a conference and a trade show. The hall hosts more than 80 booths: it is a place to meet and connect, where breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks are served.
Contact us through the Contact page or by email to join the list of exhibitors. Space is limited, so we recommend getting in touch as early as possible (the exhibitor campaign opens every year in early September). Booth locations are allocated based on payment date. See the “Become an exhibitor” page for package details.
Yes, a dedicated exhibitor desk is located at the entrance of the exhibition hall. It opens the day before the conference for booth setup and stays open throughout the event. A team member will hand you your badges. Once handed over, badges are your responsibility: keep them safe and take them with you at the end of each day.
